Meet The Ponies
Our pony family Casey a Bay Welsh Mountain mare who is 11.3 hands, Blue who is 11.1 hands and a blue roan colour that usually looks like a mucky grey when he's been rolling in the field, Not forgetting our very experienced the lovely cuddly Angelica who is a standard piebald Shetland pony 38 inches or 9.2. hands tall. Angelica is 8.
We have two new additions for 2010. A very pretty Poppy who is a steel dappled grey 11.3 hands high and a Cute and cuddly Tinkerbell who is a bay Shetland and stands at 35inches tall. Both of these ponies will be attending parties and events this year.
Blue is definately the boss. He chases the others off the food and eats what he wants. The trouble is he is 17 years old and a bit slow coming up the field so sometimes his food has been nibbled when he gets there. Blue is very experienced and nothing phases him when he is working. Blue comes with us when we need two or three ponies.
Casey is 10 and more lively than blue. She lets Blue think he is the Boss as it is usually Casey that is chased off. What Blue doesn't realise is that she has had a nibble of his food and then she gets a full bucket to herself. Clever. Casey is our Main Welsh party pony. You are most likely to meet Casey at your party.
Angelica is our adorable brown and white Shetland pony. She is 38 inches high and just loves being cuddled, groomed and petted by all her young friends. Angelica may attend our Super and Delux parties where a Shetland pony is needed for grooming or riding.
Poppy is 11.3 and 5 years old. Her markings are lovely. Poppy will be attending Fund raising events, carnivals and parties this year.
Tinkerbell has just graduated to party pony. She came out with us last year as a grooming pony but this year she is realy enjoying being the main party Shetland pony. The under fives parties are attended by Tinkerbell and Angelica and they make a fantastic team.
